Ein Produzent hat sehr wohl was mit der Entsteheung eines Filmes zu zun aber Tarantino war noch nicht mal Produzent sondern nur executive producer.

executive producer:

A producer who is not involved in any technical aspects of the filmmaking process, but who is still responsible for the overall production. Typically an executive producer handles business and legal issues.

producer:

Aaaalso ich fand Hostel ziemlich lame. Fiese Gore-Effekte machen nunmal noch lange keinen guten Film.
